Thread: Slicing Problem?

I'm a Master Smuggler, but when I get the option to slice a weapon or piece of armor, nothing happens. I select option 4, or click on where it says "slice" and I don't get an option console or anything.
Is anyone else having problems slicing? I realize that there are new tools needed for certain things, but I can't even do a basic slice or get a command window, it acts like I've done nothing.

This happens when you try to slice an item that was sliced PrePub19. Unfortunatley, there is no text about having been sliced so if you dont get the slicing box, just move on.

Ah, Thank you. Now I have a question, does this mean that anyone who wants a weapon sliced by the new methods has to buy a whole new weapon in order to receive the new slices?

Buy a new weapon, find an old weapon that was never sliced. Whatever. Previously sliced items cant be resliced. Maybe you could make friends with your local weaponsmith and get cash for referals when someone wants a new sliced gun. Always look for the positive credits in any situation.
