I sent them an email to the forums showing how it works , then spent 45 minutes on teamspeak explaining different options. Now imagine typing all of it out. not to mention i want this on helm this on chest the rest can be this or that. Oh i dont have the loot for that ok wait hmmm try this and that, oh i can't i dont have that loot either. I have a guy with 4 or 5 suits of armor lol oh the joy that'll be 6 hours of typing

just wait until they bring you their loot they bought on the trade boards for 3mil credits and you tell them you can't slice their gun for damage cause its already at caps and and them it all back

I have two emails that I sent to myself in-game. The first one has all the details of the new slicing. Once someone see it, the usual response is "Can you just slice it and tell me how much to pay you?"

Now I have a set of 'package' deals that I offer, 5% crit-2% speed-2% dam for example. I sent myself the email with the packages, I forward this to customers, they glance through the menu, make their selection, pay me money, and I slice. quick, easy, and profitable.

Of course, they can still spec out their personalized slices, but most people don't want to bother. "Make it faster, hit harder, or both" generally makes them happy.

I talked to a pretty patient guy the other day... he had a fine trigger assembly, took a little bit to explain that I couldn't put that on unless he got the fine toolkit. He asked where to find one, I told him good luck. I finally sold him on the tier 1 damage slice on his two scatter pistols and a tier 2 damage slice on one of them with my lone simple toolkit.

The added complication of the customization level is a good one, too... you know, 'if you want to someday get an uber slice on this, you don't want to get these other low-level slices done on it...'

Maybe we should start charging by the hour for our slicing services.

How did you do that? Can you e-mail something from outside the game?

Is there any way to get a txt file imported, so I don't have to type it all out in-game?

you could always type what ever you like or even copy paste in your /notepad. that would work. but first if you never used itbeforeyou need to go in game and use/notepad and type anything it there. just so a notepad pops up in you swg files. then when ever you like just go find it somewhere in your swg profiles folders.

then type whatever you want then click on the x its gonna ask if you want to save..... i don't know anything about sending yourself an email

its a pretty easy set up although i forgot in controls somewhere iset it up as control c and cont v and bah toggle to desktop copy , then in game hit control v and done
