Woops, helps if I type a message first...

Anyways, I couldn't find this in any faqs, and search is down... of course, so does anyone know the difference between the Improve Impact Deflection and Add Hardening slices? It just seems to me they do the same sort of thing...

It's explained in the FAQ, but I see how you could get confused. Impact Deflection reduces the armor's decay during use. Hardening gives a chance that the armor will reduce the damage of an attack by 50%

I looked at the faq, but it still confuses me. Wouldn't deflection be infinitely better, as there's a greater chance of it taking effect?

Thanks!

Deflection has that chance listed to reduce the amount of cond lost to an attack by 50%

Hardening has the listed percent chance of reducint the damage done to the PLayer by 50% after the armor absorbs whatever it's resist is.
