Ummmm I wouldn't do that. Last time I've heard instead of reducing the downer it increased it to an hour.
Besides the downer is only 30 seconds.

It USED to be, pre-CU, a very good thing to have around when you use spices. Granted few people were using spices, but for those who did, Smuggler Delight really was making a diference. With SD of high quality you could end up with a downer of 2 seconds instead of several minutes.
But now, not only downer are shorter than before but last thing I heard, Smuggler Delight is borked. So I would buy a small quantity and test it in a safe setting.
