Maybe its just me, but since the new patch i've seen a marked increase in scans, particularly by the police in Mos Eisley, yesterday, I saw one near the bank scanning every toon that walked past.

About time, shame theres no real crime/punishment/contraband system implemented

Dunno... most of my online time is spend in space, these days... I rarely go outside the starport, when I'm in a city...

Well I've been through an Imperial controlled Eisley, and an Imperial controlled Kadara twice each now and have still not been scanned... you must be halucinating from content starvation.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

I have played A LOT since the CU came out, and I have not been scanned over 5 times since!!!!

I was on my way back from killing my first mark as novice BH, and I was knowcked off my barc for an inspection. All I did was hop back on and i went to Doba Gurfel which I was headding to. But I was surprised since I was out side the city by quite a bit still, and haven't been stopped for a scan inn a very long time. But there still seems to be no risk as it looks like they never find anythifn as it was before.

I have noticed a marked increase in scans.

Ironically, one of those 2-column formations of CL80 novatroopers has perma-spawned right outside my slicing component shop. I get scanned every other time I leave, but I have never failed to evade as master smuggler. Then again I only carry one sliced item, my gun.

So, I wonder if the number of illegal contraband items factors in also?

Itcould also be because of the number of troopers; each could have a small chance to initiate a scan, and having 20 of them would make it an almost certainty.
