Thread: question about slicing advacned laser rifle..

quick question, one I'm hoping a master smuggler could answer for me
I have an advacned laser rifle with the following stats:
dmg 482-1119
speed 2.71
acc 17
wound 14.95%
SAC: 82
base dps 294.8
Now I have several iiegal core boosters,and delicate trigger assemblys. Basically I want to know what the best slice for this gun would be (like lvl 3 dmg, 1 speed, etc type thing) and what approx results would be.
I am not a smuggler myself just want this gun as fast as possible and as powerful as possible. I do not know any smugglers on chilastra, but I can ask in the trade forum for that server, but just in general Ijust wanted to know what type of slice specifically will give me the best results and it would affect my SAC, etc

Check either, SonG's list for Weapon Slices or the Weapon List on the WS Forum. If your Weapon is allready capped, or close to cap, a slice wont to much. Because the cap fpr slicing is lower as the crafted cap.

Yup, not only is the new slicing system a steaming pile but now Smugglers can't even slice very good anymore. You would do better to just look at the list of weapons and armorand their caps and buy your weapons and armorat cap (like I do now).

Damage at crafting cap, SAC as low as possible, slice for speed.

The most you'll be able to get out of it is a tier 2 damage slice to about 1154 (crafted cap is 1184 and slicing cap is lower). Then go for tier 2 spd unless you are a BH and have crit shot then a crit slice might help but spd would probably be better anyway.
