Last night I took five pieces of armor to get a level 3 armor break slice. My armor now indicates that it is 60% customized...I figure it has 40% left that I can use, however, a smuggler told me that no other slice will "stack" with that slice at that level. Can another smuggle please confirm this? If it IS true, why wouldn't the Devs just make the level 3 Armor break slice 100% customized?

Thanks in advance for any help.

No, at 60% you could still put one more slice one it, as the rest of the slices are 25%

you are right, the smuggler not. You can get any of the other slices until you reach 100% customisation (maybe less if a slice would put it over 100% like 85% + 25%). Of course you figured yourself out already that you can't slice them for Armour break again.

Now see, we should refer other posters to this post as an example of how to actually get answers from smugglers. He read the stickies, was polite, kissed up a little (you could have just offered beer or pie, but kissing up is ok I guess), had good grammer and spelling, and provided all information we needed to know what he needed.

Well done poster!Ya gets to leave th' smuggler forums wit' yer booty unplundered!

Thank you SO much for the fast reply....this confirms what I thought and I thank you.

I wanted to add an Armor Hardening slice before I take the suit out to play, as Jedi slice through armor like butter.

Follow up question:

If I undestand the sticky Wes made here.

As I look at the Armor Hardening information for a level 1 Armor hardening slice (cost of 15% customisation) this slice gives the piece of armor sliced a 1% chance of absorbing 50% of the damage being done? 1% seems a bit low to be effective at all (balance I know), if not armor hardening, what other level 1 slice can someone suggest for a suit that already has a level 3 armor break slice?

*edit*

Or actually, since I currently have 60%, the added 15% for the level 1 Armor Hardening (if Wes is correct about the percentage) would only take me to 75% total....wouldn't this STILL allow me to use another 25% level 1 slice?

I suggest the Impact Deflection one(if it is not ADKed), reduces decay on the armour.

You are correct! So feel free to add on another lvl 1 slice. However the percentages work to get to 100%, as long as you do them progressively, you are all set!

Oh, and like the others, thanks for a well stated, articulate, and previously researched thread/post!
