Ran a search and checked the FAQs, but i couldnt seem to find some info on this particular question.
Thinking of selling faction perks on my vendor, and i was just hoping for some suggestions on what to purchase and put on there. Any of the faction perks we can acquire sell well amongst the masses?

The armor can sometimes sell pretty well. Once the new sets come out i believe youll make a killing with those sets also. Installations dont sell all that well it seems. None of the installations last long on my server though =).

I usualy have every SF base type on my vendor, the HQs I have on cheap. 5-10 Large Tower turrets, 2-3 full sets of Imperial storm trooper amour, 4-5 imperial uniforms and at least one ofeach item in the furniture ranged selection. Imperials have alot more to sell than Rebels
What sells? Everything. The uniforms sell well but every little money. Placing the HQ basesI get free with the SF bases cheaply sell well and are a nice bonus. I sold two sets of armour last night but none for the last few days before that. The SF bases that are sold always boost my account up
Though I probably only sell 2 or 3 a week. Turrets tend to disappear all in one go when they do sell. Things have a tendency to stay on my vendors for a couple of days then suddenly fly off when I start getting desprate for cash again.
The rule of all vendor sales is that you should always have it stocked. If people see that your vendor is stocked when they viste they will come again. If it's empty they'll forget about it and never come back. Genraly people are lazy they don't want to spend 1 hour of their game time looking around for what they want. If they find what they are looking for at a reasonalble price they will buy and come back to you again and again becuase they know where to buy those items from.

Excellent advice.
Unfortunately, ive never participated in a base raid, so im not really sure what an SF base is. Furthermore, how much of a premnium do you normally add on to your wares? Naturally, this differs from server to server and smuggler to smuggler, but im just wondering what others charge, approximately.

SF.HQ = PvP bases
HQ = PvE bases you get 2 lower ones with each SF bases you buy.
I normaly charge around fp cost x 100cr per item I sale as it's a nice round number and I do enough maths in really life

On the Rebel side, the Marine backpack is very popular. The rest of the armor tends to sell in whole suits (except the boots, people seem to like those too). Rarely do I ever sell a helmet, and everyone can probably see why.
Furniture sells pretty well, even though we have less of it than you guys. I wish we had that desk, or at least one of our own.
Base wise, I've been selling PvE Forward Outposts like mad. Usually in large numbers (say 12 at a time). I think since they're so cheap now, people are using them to grind investigation.
One word of advice though... maintaining a vendor with the way prices change now is a pain in the ass. Unless your team solidly controls one planet, expect the value of what you buy to change daily.

To make real money selling faction items you need to do two things.
- Take part in the GCW folks who want to buy these things need to know who you are.
- Keep the items well stocked. Its no good just having a few items on there every few weeks a stocked vendor is the key to making money in any profession.

The current system of perk prices has me taking pause before considering a "permanent" vendor with set pricing.
If you do go through with it, be sure to hit all the buildable worlds and speak with recruiters(takes about an hour to 45 min on my server). Divide your faction number by the opposing faction's number to get a feel for what the ratios are, and then watch them for a week or two. If you check twice a day you'll likely begin to get a feel for the buliding/base-smashing habbits of your faction.
Then, buy low! The higher the number you get by following above, the lower the price of the perk. This is in *constant* flux, so pay attention. I reccomend setting a maximum price to buy at, and a set price that ensures a profit even if you have to restock during hard times. Buying large numbers of perks when low prices are in place will insure you maximise your profits.
I myself find this a bit daunting, and am already seeing a drop in the purchasing power of my regulars. But a little time surfing the galaxy's hot spots and you might be able to make this work. The trouble with the vendor-based business model is that you are merely charging more for the convenience of an instant sale. Other smugglers who ride the peaks and valleys of the GCW will at times be tough competiton, though if your faction often does poorly save for short bursts of activity on specific worlds, they wont make nearly the same profits as an oppertunistic entreprenuer with a known vendor...

Lovely suggestions from all. Just a quick question. Where can i obtain more info about bases and what they are used for, so that i can decide which ones are the fast-moving ones?

I would talk to the leading PVP guild in your faction on your server find out who they are getting their bases from. After that I would see what generic items (used by both factions) are getting used.
On my server I have lately noticed a drop in turret sales but a dramatic increase in base sales. Most of us dont have a vendor to use on our own so you will also need to contact a merchant and see what they are looking to put on their vendors and what theyare will to pay you for buying the items for them.
