Thread: Combat in the CURB and the Smuggler

I'm sure people were expecting this post sooner or later.


I'm seeing the CURB now, and I'm wondering how the Smuggler fits in with it all.


Is there a decent document around that explains the new system, and how the smuggler fits into it all?

There are missions in which you "deliver an item while hostiles attack you" in every profession. I still don't consider [Smuggler's Alliance] pilots to be Smugglers, nor 'Smuggling' - at least not any more than Rebel Pilots or Imperial Pilots might sometimes "smuggle", with a lower-case s - JFreeman - 10/6/04

No one specific document mate, its been all over the place really.


What you'll find:


1. ConcussionShot is Borked right now, but some people feel its for the best, It will be changed to a Mez totally restricting the target of all actions, as opposed to the ROOT it is now. I feel its a change for the best, but thats just my opinion.


2. Find/make a damn good blaster, most use Renegade or DL44XT.


3. I would recommend against using the Auto-attack feature in the game now - you can control/time your attacks much better without it.


4. In PvP we are a force to recconed with - even if it means knowing when to run.



Im sure theres more but I'm at work - in a bitchy mood and cant think of anything else.
