Thread: New Smuggler skill Extract SEA Attacment

Man this is very frustrating having to deal with SEA's most if not all have more that 1 stat 2 or 3 most of the time witch means you will only get 1 -2 mods you really want on item of armor or clothing?


Even if it was random witch mod goes away on an attachment i think it would be worth it since you guys seem the best people to have this skill what do you guys think. I am stuck right now with alot good SEA's I cant use becuase i do not have a way to get the mods I want to stick if it was the old way i would be set but the new way sucks!

This has been proposed before and there seem to be two different camps regarding this. One thinks that it's a skill that falls into the Smuggler's balliwick, while the other proposes that this should instead be a featured ability for Tailors and Armorsmiths.


I personally am in the T/AS camp. Yes it be'd a great way for Smugs to earn some extra credits but we've already been reduced to slice-monkeys (when slicing works, anyway) for the populace. I'd hate to have my tell-hell doubled by people looking to strip the SEAs off of their stuff. Give it to the professions who are specialized in the appropriate area. Makes more sense to me and those two profs might appreciate some lovin' (especially the AS folks).
