So, I'm lvl 14 novice smuggler and having some troubles finding missions. I went to see Jaba, but I have to kill some lvl 30 tuskens... needless to say I'm too low. Can somebody point me to some location where to get some missions?

The mining outpost on dantooine is a pretty popular place to hunt and grind. If you're imp or rebel, you might want to grab missions from the respective terminals on Tattooine or wherever. I don't know what things are like for cl14s these days, but those are your best bets, probably.

Actually, now that I think about it, Dantooine hunting might be a bit much, but if you get in a hunting group, you could hang back, get some shots in and get some good XP. Also, I did Jabba's theme park before I even made it to novice smuggler, working up the unarmed brawler and pistols marksman trees... don't know if they made it harder with the CU...

By the way, congrats on making smuggler. It's both a very wise and extremely foolish move.

Congrats on Novice! I think Tatooine or Talus might have good hunting for your level. I think it'll be hard to find groups though.

You can stay on Tat for a bit more, as the mission terms give up to lvl 15 missions. After that, you can find a player city on tat that will give missions around your level. Not sure what other planet's missions start at, but Lok has min of ll 65 missions. Just make sure to pick creatures that do not agro and do not DB. (And as to the theme parks--all of them--they are much easier post-CU).

Thanks for the info guys. Guess I'll keep kicken around and try to get more XP. 1 other question: is there armor I can get / buy? I'm still running around in simple clothes, and some time lvl 1 creature still get some good hits in on me 100 damage.

welcome to the smuggler profesion.

2 things you must keep in mind:

-always keep your good mood when it comes to our profesion.

-master the technike of beer chuggin and pie eating. once you master that no jedi or ub3r 1337 player will defeat you.

At novice you're cert'd for Recon.

You'll have to look around on the bazzaar's vendor search to find some.

If you're on Lowca, feel free to hit me up for some help, the low level can be painfully slow.

cause uhh... those don't actually exsist... yet.

and we don't know when they will.
