Oh no! I killed a couple of Meatlumps in front of Coronet and now I have -5000 Thug faction. How do I baalnce that out again without ending up with -5000 Townspeople? I plan on having a career as a Smuggler real soon... Awh no...!

Not really. I think somethings broke. I shot ONE Naboo Police Officer and now I have -1134 with them...

Uhhh....well...in RL if you shotone cop you would have a lot more than -1134 faction with that department...in fact, you would be the subject of an intense manhunt...

My SWG Observations

If they stopped the expansions for one year and gave quality revamps to the professions that need it most, many people would resubscribe.
With all the resubs, and the new players, there would then be plenty of money to hire enough people to do 2-4 quality revamps per year plus 1-2 larger expansions per year and/or 2-4 smaller expansions per year, and not give the BigWigs a pay cut. (Possibly even an increase)

If you're planning on going up to CL80, then getting shot at in town won't be an issue. Most of the mobs are low level (<CL20) and will ignore such a tough customer.

Of course, you could always farm for meatlump faction, and then farm for townsperson faction by going after evil hermits on tat or something other than meatlumps.

It can be done. =)
