It was not a real lie, just not the exact truth.

They refused to say whether Mr. Bookshelf was referring to content in the expansion or smuggling content.

So while they didn't necessarily lie, they purposely avoided clarification so some people would hold out hope.

It was a dirty and disgusting trick, and I have come to expect nothing less from them.

Which is why im purposely holding on to my $30, instead of pre-odering anything.

I was really considering buying that thing (for the rewards like the house, the skiff) for the new content (the graphics look really good) but I can't. Not the way they try to force it down our throats.

It's not an offer they make anymore, they want to make it a duty. It's not fun they offer but money they demand.

I ain't buyin' squat...not until I see more feedback on the expansion...so far, it really doesn'thold anything intersting to me...sure the skiff and the new house would be nice, but there's no space, and I'm completely happy with my YT-1300...don't need rendar's machine.

I agree, I haven't read or heard anything that compells me to buy it..I dont want to ride a giant flea, I dont want to drive a Desert Skifter...I have more than enough houses, not to mention the houses that I haveAdmin over...You named the Expansion Pack: Trials of Obe-won, placed it on a planetthat I have no personal connection to what so ever..

and

There is no Smugler content, that I've heard of, to be found there....so why should I buy something that excludes me.

That quote meant that TooW would keep Smugglers busy until they gave us content, not that we would recieve content in November.

TooW IS our content in November.

At least, that's how I took it.

Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

Editor's Note: The author of the above post has quit giving SOE her money. She suggests you do the same, because this game will never be what you want it to be.

Intially, I thought that Smuggling missions would be installed by November which left me happy.

After the delays in the Squad Leader Publish, I thought that the Devs gave us an honest good-faith promise for Smuggling content by November which wouldn't be met because of these Publish problems. This left me disappointed but not angry because I still believed that the Devs intentions were there, they just ran into bad luck and would have to push back the Smuggling content

Now I think the Devs are leading us by the nose. For example, they promised non-combat content in the new expansion but based on Beta-testers comments the non-combat content is almost non-existent and quite frankly, insulting (I'm a hybrid Smuggler so I'm interested in non-combat content). It leads one to believe that they are willing to spin, exgarate (sp), and even lie in order to make a couple of bucks. From now on, I'm not believing anything until it goes live.

Hey, it may mean they're getting it RIGHT, that they had problems or it turned out to take longer than they thought it would!

What, YOU never got something to someone late?
