You may think I'm being negative, I think I'm being realistic.

You may think I'm being inflamatory, I think I'm fighting fire with fire.

You may think I hate you, I just really disagree with you.

If you think I'm attacking someone personally, don't. I believe in healthy debate. Healthy debate doesn't mean you have to be nice. It means that in the end you can step back and shake hands. I can do that with just about anyone I argue with on these boards so please do not take offense with something I say. And just because I say something in one thread, it does not mean it's the reason I'm replying in another thread. Each thread is it's own subject and I do my best to reply to it accordingly.

If I've offended you, I'm sorry. My goal is to rally everyone around one concept, smuggling. If you've read my posts, you know why I don't think the answers given can result in smuggling. IF you are satisfied with those answers, so be it. However, please do realise that the majority of posts believe otherwise, and help work towards the common goals of the community.

Well Zane is still banned from the other day.

I was just trying to explain my standpoint to some of the others around here who think (or have thought in the past) thatI'm out for their blood. Things cannot be taken personally around here.

If people are able to understand my viewpoint better, then they can understand that my problem is not necessarily with them, but with the devs, and that I'm just trying to get everyone on the same page.

Dewcatti, I am a full supporter of open debate. I think it's healthy for people to have differing opinions. What I do not tolerate or support is when these debates become personal. Making comments about someone you do not know in the least is not part of a healthy debate.

I have been reading some of your other posts. I see many of them are very good actually. I welcome your debates, just leave the personal parts out of it ok?

Furthermore, I don't even take the personal attacks seriously.

Bottom line for me is that the game and everything surrounding is meant to be fun and help me relax. And it does. If it didn't, why would I bother?

That's the point. This is the end of the line for many. This is the only thing that will bring some back to the game. This IS the breaking point for the community.

As for"personal" attacks... sometimes it takes a swift kick in the butt to open some eyes. Like I said, I'm not trying tooffend anyone,it's morealong the lines of forceful persuasion.

And yet I haven't changed how I post to you or anyone else because of the 'swift kick'. Just not an effective tactic. As for the game being not fun for some anymore, then perhaps they should quit? I mean, I still have fun. I am a smuggler. Always have been. I am not special in some magical way that I can have fun and others can't.

Take a break. Take a step back. Take a kitkat. Whatever. Just have fun.

As of right now, you are right; we are only drug pushers & slicers. We don't have exclusive rights to sell faction points & AFK Faction Farming, in some cases, is hurting the selling faction points business for us. The smuggler quest from Rage of the Wookies, gave us a loot pistol (The Black Falcon) that was worthless to us. And to top it off, if Tiggs replies to Wes' questions are to be taken at face value, then we're all about to become SWG's version of U.P.S. without any space-based smuggling.

In response to the "ground-shipping" portion, we should all have brown button-down short sleeved shirts & brown paramilitary shorts crafted for us for when this "revamp" hits. Hell, for all of the crap this community has been through, they should make the UPS uniform a loot drop on a crappy smuggler only quest. If we all stick together, we'll show them all what Brown, not only can, but WILL do to them!!!1

I do find it ironic that, from what I've heard, Rangers are getting a "pick-pocketing" feature. Most within this community could make an argument that we deserve this ability as apart of being more "criminal" in nature, but also because the skill is currently being used on us by SOE everytime the charge for this game hits our credit cards.

While I do understand that there are 30+ professions in this game that all require equal attention and, frankly, some of those profs are more "broken" or "confused" (Commando) than we are, it seems that no one profession has been singled out for more "in Concept" ideas than Smugglers. While we need smuggling content, I believe that the one thing we need even more than that is honesty, follow-thru & communication from the developers. Smuggler "In Concept" threads seem to disappear from here faster than a jack rabbit screwing a balloon, without any mention as to why. I believe that this lack of follow-thru, honesty & communication could stem from one of 2 things :

1) The DEVs believe we're smart enuff to figure out for ourselves why the revamp is going nowhere.

-or-

2) The DEVs aren't smart enuff themselves to figure out why the revamp is going nowhere.

The DEVs certainly are not suffering for any lack of feedback from this community. Ideas & concepts get put on these boards almost daily, if not hourly in some cases. When most think of the SW movies, 3 professions jump to the surface (in no particular order) :

1) Jedi, because of Luke, Yoda, Obi-Wan, etc.

2) Smugglers, because of Han & Lando

3) Bounty Hunters, because of Boba Fett

Now I know someone will get pissed at the way I ordered this because it defiles the sanctity of the SOE's "holy trinity", but I wont make fun of them or call them terrible names. I'll just call them what they are :
