After they patch the fix to WUK's that are in a crate, I started pulling some from a crate I had in my backpack. I started slicing some of my weapons that I use a lot. Put a couple of speed slices on my low SAC DXL44T. I wasn't really thinking about what I was doing.

Next day I fly into Entha on my way to Anchorhead. I get into a little skirmish with a couple of ST's. I notice my action bar is dropping like a rock. Before, I could spam specials all day and not really worry about it. To be fair, I wasn't on Pixie and Brandy like I normally am. But it did point out to me that a speed slice may not be a good idea unless you have a really low (like SAC capped) weapon. Otherwise you may be hurting yourself more than helping.

That's the scary thing... I use them religiously. I basically turned a good hunting gun into a mediocre one.

Low Sac DXL44T pistols are the best. I'm joking bud, yeah... I like to encourage my buyers not to waste their time slicing weapons with a huge SAC cost. I even encourage weaponsmiths to take SAC into consideration, I wont even consider buying a weapon with a Special Action cost over 90 unless the damage is worth the pain.

You make a valid point. Though I have some problems finding decent PUPs.
