If you're planning on 4000 Smuggler just for Last Ditch, then that shows you don't have enough confidence in either of your other professions or your own skills to keep you alive. Using Last Ditch isn't a skill designed to help you win, its a skill intended to keep you from losing. Using Last Ditch is essentially saying "Okay, you're better than me, but I'm not done, yet!".

It's a horrible combo. You will lose. You will not be uber. You'd have more success with Weaponsmith 4/0/0/0....

Never pick smuggler again, for its specials are more complex than you could possibly imagine.
