Thread: Lost AUK and WUK Crates
Prior to the hotfix I went through about 10 crates of upgradeds with only a 1/25 salvage rate.
Is there anything planned to recompense this - Perhaps a cool Smuggler item ??? (Maybe a blaster holster like Han's ? To go With the Pistol - Which is great BTW)

umm.... no one said that you had to go through them, especially since a fix was talked about before Pub 19 went live. You could have just held on to them like the rest of us did.
Not to sound callous, but sorry 'bout your luck.
Fair enough.
But when a Publish comes out and you are told to expect 'some' salvages. When you try, and youget only one salvage in twenty-five (Always the last one in the crate - So no alternative to going through the crates completely) it is fair to think that you expect that to be the norm..........
So you carry on with business only to find that a Hotfix is needed and the salvage rate goes up 25-Fold.
Should we be expected to do nothing after every publish until the Hotfix comes out or should we expect the Publish to have worked ? (If you believed every rumour on the forums you would never leave your house-Also are we really saying that they knew a Hotfix was needed prior to the Publish? If so why did the Publish go live?)

Then we were informed that a Dev on the TC heard about the issue with crated items and said it was a bug and would be fixed. With the message from the Dev in mind, and the fact that it was reported as a bug, I got the impression that waiting would be prudent. Apparently not everyone interpreted the news the same way. Sorry you're not on Farstar or I'd give you a pile of tools.
