how do i buy ranks. According to underworld i should be able to buy ranks. I know that smuggler's just use an alt or friend to get bases and perks but i can not buy ranks like it describes. plz help!

So many ways I could answer this...but, I'll go this route...
Just wait until the patch that's currently on TC gets pushed live. Then you can buy ranks 'til your heart's content.

Read the stickies my good friend. These are the threads at the top of the forum. Check out the Smuggler FAQ and Dreven's Guide to Selling Faction. The answer is just too longwinded for me to type here, and it would be a good chunk of my life in this gorgeous body of mine just wasted forever

well see, i know how to buy faction. But if you read the description of Underworld 4 , you should be able to buy your ranks - not just faction. That is what i was wondering, and the stickies do nto address it.

And the box doesn't specifically say you can buy ranks.
Exact text from the UW4 box:
"A Smuggler's work puts him in contact with a lot of people in high places. A Smuggler can draw upon the connections to improve his standing with various organizations...at a price."
Nowhere in there does it say, "You can buy rank."

maybe i just "assume" and imply things differ. I read "improve you stadings" as increase your rank since underworld allows you to buy faction points. but thx for all the help
