Variables that effect the prices are:

1. Factional Rank (Colonel gets Cheapest)


2. Underworld Rank (Master Smuggler is Highest)


3. Current GCW status of the planet. (Basically, whatever planet your Faction is kicking the most A** is is the best place to buy). you can find out the ratio of each planet by asking a recruiter on each planet "how are we doingagainst (opposing faction)" and he will give you a ratio. Look for the planet where your faction has the best ratio. THIS EFFECTS THE PRICE MORE THAN ANY OTHER VARIABLE!!

1375 w/buff (do rebs get it even cheaper?)

Oops.

100k credits buys 1250 FP or 80cr/fp. With an inspiration buff 100k credits buys 1375 FP or 73cr/fp.

What does this mean exactly? 1375 per what? And which buff? Sorry for the questions but I am trying to help out a friend who doesn't use the forums.

Does this really make a difference in prices?? I haven't heard anything about this, if it's true then that would be wonderful....I'm a MSmuggler and an Imp Colonel on Tempest and everything is controlled by the Imperials on that server. I'd save so much fp.

It Drastically effects the price of Factional Perks. On tattoine where the ratio is 5 to 1 rebels (on my server) the most expensive base is 31k. But at the most imperial controlled planet it is 80k. So yeah, its important to know what planet you are on.

Yep you want an inspiration buff on you, and you want to buy on a world your faction controls.
