How to slice a

Attack Speed: 2.68

Your Modified Speed: 1.6

Damage: 474 - 1116

Accuracy Bonus: 18

Wound: 31.05%

Estimated Base DPS: 296.24 /sec

Your modified DPS: 497.21/sec

SAC: 83

Considering these stats, wondering what I should slice it with..

I do not know its damage cap

I normaly use speed pups (minus -21 accuracy) (stats above is unpuped/unsliced)

Any helpful ideas?

I'd probably try the damage slices first...there's no way you'll get past the second damage slice. Follow those up with speed slices.

At least that's what I'd do, and if you need to fill out the rest of the 100%, go for crit slices cause maybe just maybe they'll be fixed soon........

Seriously though, that's what I'd do

I would first do some research on the damage cap for the weapon. If the damage cap is 1205 or more, then go for a tier 1 speed, a tier 3 damage and a tier 1 critical (I refer to this as a '131'.). This would drop the speed to ~2.63, increase the damage to ~511-~1205, and give you a 3% critical chance for a DPS of ~326.

For my money, damage is king. I would speculate that the damage cap is 1184, which is the cap for T-21s and ALRs. In that case, there are a few other 100% customization options:

400: tier 4 speed slice (+12% speed) This would drop the speed to ~2.39 and up the DPS to ~332. As I said before, I prefer damage to speed. Max damage impresses me more than DPS does.

113: tier 1 speed and damage (2% on both), tier 2 critical (5% chance) This would drop the speed to ~2.63, increase the damage to ~483-~1138 for a DPS of ~308, plus give you a critical 5% of the time. Currently, criticals without criticalshot from BH don't seem to be working.

003: tier3 critical slice (10%) One in ten shots lands a critical. Sitll broken so far as I know.

Of course, you don't have to go for a 100% customization. Also note that the tier 3 damage slice is going to require an illegal core booster, so unless you have one of those, then be prepared to wait a long time for that third slice or be prepared to pay through the nose big time. Unless, of course, then drop rate gets bumped.

My 2 creds. Hope it helps.

For 85% customization, you could go with a 220 (tier 2 speed and damage). This would drop the speed to 2.58 and crank the damage to 493-1160 for a DPS of 321. This would put you at 85% customization, which isn't enough room for any more slices, but would not require an illegal core booster and would put you as close to the damage cap as you can get wihtout wasting any of the increase.

speed all the way. i don't know why everyone is so interested in getting a max damage slice. so you MIGHT hit that cap on a creature with NO armor. DPS is what saves you. think about it...damage per second. and you won't have to spend 1mil on a core booster for a lousy 8% increase that will cap. my proton carb un-pupped has a mdps for a rifleman...of 570. and my advanced laser rifle puts out 530. i aggro EVERY thing i hit. doesn't matter who his in the group or how strong their weapon is. i always take the hits because i am doing the most damage. i have 4 trigger assemblies. send me an IG email and i will take care of you without ripping you off.

While I don't agree with his reasoning, I do agree with his final assesment. A 12% speed slice will be your best bet at this point.

If you are at 1097max damage or below I would have suggested the Max Damage 8%, 2% speed, and 3% criticle, but because you bypassed that mark it would be a waste of the weapon and slicing to do a 2speed/2damage slice on it only giving you two marginal increases in those areas. But if you run a 12% speed slice you'll be somewhere around 2.3ish speed on the weapon which will make it a very useful weapon even at 1116 max damage.

Anyways those are my thoughts on it, for that weapon a speed slice will be your best bet. If you get a good WS to custom craft a weapon for you they can estimate the stats out ahead of time to incorporate the slicing into it giving you the best possible weapon in the end. And it's very possible that you could have hit the 1097mark with one less point into damage which could have been put either in SAC or into speed.
