..profanity filter. Not here mind you,..my salty rendition of Dennis Leary's "The A**hole Song" modified for Smugglers here in our forum and in the bria server forum resulted in post deletion.
Now...I posted a reply to Quiet 420..some noob Jedi in the BH forums talking about we'd get our revamp when we gave up lastditch. I "bypassed" the profanity filter using periods. I get baned for only 24 hours.
Result:
Not even the moderators dare do anything in OUR forum other than delete posts.

We'll get our revamp when we give up Last Ditch? That's a weird thing to say. I think if we did that we'd just end up with no Last Ditch and no revamp.

Yah he and a few others love to use the "Report to Moderator" button whenever they don't agree with something you have to say. Its best not to give them ammo when posting in a thread where hypocrites like that post. All the thread deletions, the general mood, the severe lack of improvement, and the fact that the lead developer just left, is starting to give me a really bad feeling about this game.

True, except it wouldn'tbe a case of giving it up, but having it taken away without comment, except possibly some vague promises of a replacement being worked on.
That's how it worked for entertainers, anyway.

I'd approximate that to what happened to us with slicing when the CU hit, really. Which personally I have reservations about but like more than I dislike, but the jury's rather hung on that one.

True, except it wouldn'tbe a case of giving it up, but having it taken away without comment, except possibly some vague promises of a replacement being worked on.
That's how it worked for entertainers, anyway.

I dunno... I was banned for reposting a thread that got deleted here in the Smuggler forum.
I made a thread that just pointed out how angry people were in the Publish 20 Live Issues thread and it got deleted. I reposted it, and got banned for it.
They don't like me because I cause trouble, I guess.

Know whats funny? The posts I got banned for reposting I also reposted in the Starsider forums, and far as I know its still up.

Quiet420 went into the "Turnschuhfresse, reintreten und wohlfühlen"-category
(rough translation would be "sneakerface, kick and feel good")

I reposted the post about contacts to write to about the sorry state of this game and didn't get banned for it. Maybe they noticed I really did cancel and only have two days left. Silly to make a martyr that's leaving in two more days.
