Thread: More Improvements to the Smuggler career choice.

1. I restate, being able to slice droids, and receive aid from droids. R2-D2, a many droids have hacked terminals, doors, and computers. Since smugglers hack, why not put some synergy in their. And remember, Han didn't ever complain about not having molecular clamps. My idea for Droids, is that when you gain the 'Master Smuggler' title, you can slice them to add functions. Slicing terminals, armor or weapons, by subbing in for an AUK, WUK or Molecular Clamp.
2. Slicing ship parts, or even better- having a specific NPC vendor for Smugglers. Only accesible via the Underworld tree, they can by illegal engines, modified shields, the like. Have them buyable via faction points. We all know the fastest ship in the galaxy BELONGED to a Smuggler. The Millenium Falcon, the Outrider, etc. all smuggler ships, all hellishly illegal.

Go man go!
We should be far more useful as slicers, and should get a few tricks for piloting aswell.
How else would we outrun those blockades and bounty hunters?

Great - I especially like those ideas since they both link to JtL - could make Smuggler a very good profession - most commonly its just picked up for the pistols tree 
With increased use of droids in JtL and contest of PvP I think both ideas would work very well, go along with the Star Wars continuity (although that went ages ago), and not overdoing it.

I like the idea of the "shady vendor." You want the super-cool rare illegal thing? You gotta know the right people...
