Try equiping a better weapon,worked for me as a plain ole smuggler

So I went togo try do the quest to get the scythe schematic on tatooine. my only combat skills are what i have from master smuggler. i get there, and the guy tells me he is sorry, but this task is beyond my abilities. nice to know that after all that pistols xp, i still suck. (well, i already knew that, just nice to hear it from an npc.)

I am TKM, Pistoleer 4-3-4-4, and smuggler 2-2-1-4. I got the same message..however...ther is one thing you didn't know. In order to get the sythe I believe you must have novice swordsman. Otherwise it won't let you get it. That is what I hear at least.

Wierd, I did it as master pistoleer... unfortunately I didn't know about the quest and what it entailed, so at the end on the last one when I used the treasure map, I wasn't expecting a big ass Krayt rear its ugly head and stamp on me . Suffice to say, I didn't get the schematic.

lol that sucks dude.
But I got it and I didn't have novice swordsman. Wonder if they changed that quiet like...?
And yeah,beware of the crate. When I went there I got smacked down pretty quick. Cloned fast and took off back there to find 2 people attacking the krayt. So I ran and grabbed my schematic cause it was still there and then went and helped take out the krayt.
