Thread: To report or not to report.

I'm curious as to the overall census by smugglers and or Dev feedback as to whether or not "blackbarring" is considered griefing/reportable and if its worth my time to report such. I've read in a previous thread some comments that it was, but whether its accepted by the SWG community as a whole still evades me.
I was on my way in from Moenia , saw an AT-AT! and decided against engaing it and some 10+ overt Imps. On the return trip got waylaid by 5+ imps and after a few rounds of fighting and food buffs, (valiant effort!) I hit the concrete and then got blackbarred by a CM who hung out applying disease. I'm not worried personally about eq or regaining my wounds, though I can imagine the uselessness of the ability as a standoff.
So should I report? Or is this particular grief a Smuggler only exception? Gheyyyyy if you ask me.

It depends on how you see it, personally i dont think black baring someones health is considred something to report, 'cuz most of the time if i get black bared i was looking for it walking overt and fighting. Another thing is that some people do it just to tick people off, and they only do it to make "damage" blah! What really pissed me off where the damn CM on eclipse both rebel and Imperial, it would take a while to get yourself buffed and ready for some **edit**ing combat medic to hit you with 4 poisons and diseases in less than 10 secs and you would go down quickly, no chance for one to survive that, but hey its part of the game, if you cant take the crap with being all wounded and stuff dont PvP... Just my two cents on the subject (not bashing anyone)

this is in my oppinion totaly reportable.
and is one of the things we need fixed if we are "playing dead" even player characters should belive we are dead yes there should be a chance to be found out but we should get a system mesage leting us know they arent buying it.

Don't report them if you're continually using FD to keep from getting killed. They're just trying to cover thier asses so that they don't have someone jump up all the sudden and start to school them.
Do report if they've already capped you, and they continue to do so just to piss you off.
Yes, I agree that one shouldn't be able to stack multiple poisons and multiple diseases. Hopefully, that'll get taken care of soon.

Indeed, an actual AT-AT. On the Naritus server, in emporers retreat on Naboo, not far from Moenia.
It annihilated the rebels that were there in true ESB fashion. Much screaming and calls for mercy to be heard in its wake. It up and dissapeared though. :/
As for the reportablility of CM's dousing me for damage, no need to bother I suppose. Maybe the feign death ability will serve a far away purpose one day. That would be nice.

The AT-AT was a gift from PEX. Not sure who he is, maybe a dev. It was a gift to those who were involved in the battle. There was a GCW battle Sunday @ 6pm between Moenia(rebs) and the Lake Retreat(imp).This was thesecond one he has spawed. In addition, those who attended got a badge. I think its called a Brave Solider Badge. This is my 3rd battle like this. It was a blast to have 100 reb vs 100 imp pvp even thought the lag can suck at times. As for reporting the black bar, I wouldn't. Until FD works in PVP i dont bother b/c I dont want my Stun armor to go to waste.

I'd say it's pointless to report, because they could really fix it if they thought it shouldn't be in the game. Some things are obvious bugs, like shooting through walls, etc. This, though? This looks like how they intended it to be from the get go. I mean, they could have made the corpse unhittable.
Either way, I still get satisfaction out of denying someone fp for killing me. Seems strange, but even if I'm totally black at the end, they walk away without getting fp for me, and also without getting fp for the people they could have been killing while hitting me.
