After repeatedly getting the distinct impression that we rate somewhere on the level of 'bantha poodoo' to the devs, i had a bright idea.

What if we (the smuggler community) picked a day and spammed the dev's forum mailboxes with copies of the Community Vision Doc. Nothing offensive, no foul language, no sit-ins(although i'm still a fan of that idea as well) just a 100+ email from the community to greet them when they come in to work.

And Caylin, if you could, please re-sticky EN's "Smuggler History in SWG: as written by the Dev's thread" That, or some other disclaimer, should be put at the top of the forums for everyone to see that this, the prof most needing love as of fall '03, is still BROKEN.

If anyone's going to the fan fest, they need to make our ire known.
I don't think boardspam and massive PM'ing will do us any good. I'm pretty aware that behaving and offering well-founded opinions is not working either.
Who knows, it's BS and they've got all the sincerity of Bill and Monica caught in the guesthouse. Shame on us for expecting more, I guess.

If any smuggler's do make it down, I suggest some real-life demonstrations of "twitch-based combat" and "dirty fighting".
