*sigh* This is why I don't do the overt PvP thing...30 minutes of lying on the ground calling each other names? How fun can that really be? That was rhetorical...I've done it before, hence why I don't now.

I think about the time I realized this guy wasn't going to let go of his bone I'd have gone and watched some TV while he complained to an unattended computer.

I'm actually inspired. Think I might run around overt tonight just so I have to be sneaky sneaky. I suck at PvP so I never actually do it but it might be fun to feel in danger for once

I found this hilarious and thought i'd share. No I must say that I am overt 24/7 now. Space and ground. I've been doing this for probably a month now and think i have see 3 overt imps in space, and I have(had actually now) yet to be killed in about 3 weeks on the ground. Makes the game a hell of a lot more interesting now that you have to watch your back where ever you go. Feels almost starwarsy now.

I logged in this morning only expecting to get a little shopping done, and yes I was overt and unbuffed. I was waiting for a call from work that still hasn't come in yet. Lucky me haha. Anyways, I was running around the shops around coronet looking for a nice level 8 weapon for my ship when a friend tells me about a great spawn on steel. So I said i'd go drop some harvestors down for them. As I ride into cnet i head in to the backside of the SP where tehre aren't any doors to scout it out. My ship was there so I wanted to see if I could get to it with out any trouble. Well, low and behold there's a red dot. So I decide to ride over to the bank to see if I can draw the guy out. I don't think this guy ever saw me because as I went to the bank he ran out of the SP and down to the cantina. Ok, good luck for me I thought. Well as I'm about to ride to the enterance to the SP another red loads in. He loaded fast cause he started moving pretty quick. Well he saw me and makes a beline for hte front door. Soon as I see him exit the door i take off back around the rear of the SP hoping he'll follow me. Sure enough he did. So I rode in a big circle to the front of the SP, stored the bike real quick and ran to the ship terminal. I'm like yes. Just at that time my friend sends me a tell. And I decide to answer at that time to brag a little on my narrow escape. Well at that point I saw the red dot hightailing it for where I was from outside. So I start clicking the buttons and such on the terminal to launch quickly, but I was too slow and bam im being attacked.

Now being the great smuggler I am I hit feign death and drop to the ground. This same tatic worked for me yesterday as someone dropped a big poison on me while I was unbuffed. I feigned and proceeded to watch to jedi beat down the overt imp that attacked me. I got up and went on about my business. lol. But today was different. I feigned and then proceeded to watch as the guy stack disease and poison dots on me. Guy started yelling, cursing, calling me a pu**y, a coward, a chickenwuss, all because I feigned to avoid the death. Well about 5-10 minutes into the stand off another overt shows up and starts on me as well. Funny thing though was that they weren't doing any damage to my armor at all. I know I shouldn't of had it on in the first place, oh well. But no damage was being done, so I though hey, i can sit here all day and laugh at them get pissed cause they can't db me. About that time a third overt showed up and started wailing on me. He was actually smart enough to realize what was going on and was basically just wearing down my armor. But he wasn't doing it very fast, so I continued to just sit there and laugh at them call me names and get pissed. After about 20-25 mins of this the two overts who joined the party left leaving me with just the original overt. Well during this whole process a crowd had gathered, laughing at me, pleading for me, etc. Both sides of the party just expressing there feelings about me feigning and laying there on the floor. One guy said leave him alone, he's innocent. Let him get up.

After about 30-40 mins, i'm not sure on the exact time, i knew it was a long time, the original imp turned blue to me. Ah yes, he's covert now haha. So I pop back up, peace, meditate my wounds away and sit there arguing with the other people about hte use of fd. They didn't like it. While I was meditating I brought up the ship terminal and got it ready to launch out of there while I was chatting. And sure enough about 5 mins later the imp comes back overt again. So I hit launch to get away. And bam, i'm warped to where the shuttle lands in cnet. I got a little pissed at that, cause the imp ran to where I was attacked me again and put the disease dot on me. I feigned again and the imp ran away. At that point I wasn't thinking smart and decided to get up and proceeded to incap myself cause of the dot. Imp came back and finally got the db on me. But only because of a stupid game error/bug. But I didn't care too much. I told him congrats and we went on our way.

I just thought it was funny. I took ss of the whole proceedings. I'll have to try and post some later. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy the little bit of smuggler fun that I had this morning.
