Okay, real conversation... just happened about an hour ago... read and learn.
Dude: (Spamming) PISTOL ARMOR ATTACH., ACCURACY WHILE STANDING +3
Me : How much?
Dude: What are you offering?
Me : I got some boiled eggs, an old T-shirt, and a videoplayer
(1 minute pause)
Me : I dunno, 200k.
Dude: I've already got an offer for 350k, I'm holding out for more.
Me : 350.001k
Dude: Haha, a little more substantial.
Me : One sec... lemme mug someone and see what I get.
(I didn't wanna pay 350k for that thing. I talk to a friend for a few minutes... then get a feeling.)
Me : Listen... I know that pistoleer sucks and that no one in their right mind would pay 350k for a accuracy tape of +3 for a pistol, I'll give you 250k.
Me : Hehe, you walk away a winner here just like me.
Dude: Hehe, sold.
Me : Ahahahahahahaaaaa.
Me : You rock.
Dude: I like your attitude.
Me : Thank you.
Dude: For that response, I'd rather sell it to you, than wait an hour to sell it to a noob for 100k more.
Me : LOL. Mind if I bank tip?.....
The dude was a Master Smuggler by the way... cool as hell too. I paid him 300k because he can recognize the skills!!!

Applaud your negotiateing skills, but let me ask you this do you even bother to get your weapons scoped for that accuracy bonus?

As far as guns go, I get 'em as hard hitting as I can find. If they happen to have good accuracy, fine with me. Happens that my best pistols were actually gifts from a good friend of mine: 550 geo, 500 DX-2, 500 Republic Blaster (these are numbes w/ PuP).
The killer is that I dropped pistoleer a few weeks ago... i'm now a cookie-cutter rifleman/fencer/pistoleer defenses just so I can make an appreciable contribution to my guild, which is now frozen in carbonite until the combat upgrade.
I can hold out for the Combat Upgrade right? Then I'll unleash my pistols and whip some butt.

and hopefully *crosses fingers* pistoleers will have the ability to dual-weild pistols as well. Of course, while dual-weilding would double the damage, it should also cut your accuray by 33% or so. (perfectly proportional would be 50%, but then what is the point of dual-weild? looks i suppose

Yeah, my guild is DOA untill the CU. I might disband cause dead guildchat= sad Joras.

No kidding. Though some dude in the pilot forum was claiming they had somebody in EQ2 in their channel the other day, so I'm gonna give this another shot soon. Caylin and I tried it a few weeks ago without success, but maybe something's been changed.

Nope.. pretty damn stupid people from another GAME can do this, but not players within SWG. And it's not like it would be so hard to implement, we'd just need access to the next level chat directory.

Haha. IT's great to be able to insult other guild members in GC because nobody's on! j/k! 
Well, my guild, has about like 4 active members that i might see a few times every month wandering around. We really don't stay close to "home".

LOL, thanks. It was fun as hell to do. I was pretty damn amazed it worked. It was like gold hearing him just say, "okay, i'll take 250k... /sigh"
