So im on the 29 bus home from work, reading a book from the new jedi order series. As i was stepping off i had a "vision". In the star wars universe, all the smugglers get out of nasty situations at one time or another by threating their opponent. I.e. han and talon karde do it in the book im reading to avoid getting jacen solo taken as bounty. Why not have a skill that works like this against intelligent npc's? Obvioulsy it would only work in a one on one, or you would have to threaten the leader of a group mob, and there would of course be a chance of failure, possible aggroing nearby aligned npcs. It would be a more pro active way of getting out of sticky situations than feign death, which never really made sense to me anyway.
Anyway, this is a completely unrefined and im typing this as ive just walked into my flat. Please contribute any thoughts, or flame me if this idea is rubbish or been mentioned before, i am wearing asbestos underwear

That would be cool, I don't know if anyone has ever come up with that one. We've talked about a way to bribe our way out of things. Smuggler's definately need a way out of fighting other than Feign Death, especially if it gets Nerfed.

"don't you attack me, or I'll make sure that your next slices are all 15% speed slices - nyah"
All joking side, that's a pretty cool and different idea. Would be excellent for the people out hunting that run across the random humanoid spawn that aggroes; personally, I hate that because, although I can take them down fast, its still kind of a waste of time when I could be motoring on to my next mission.
Good thought, man.
