Technically, it's not the bloodstripe, theCorellian Bloodstripe is a broken stripe down the pant leg... not like the one with the so-called "Smuggler uniform". That one's justa plain ol' red stripe...

Yea, I know that much. It looked like it was the broken stripe from the screen I saw.

How could moffs hand out bloodstrpes anyway? The Corellian Bloodstripe is awarded by the Corellian government for military service, not by the Empire.

But the Correllian government is nearly nonexistent. The Correllian system is run by the Empire, and they tell the government what they can and can't do.

At least in this timeline...then again, the whole system is also supposed to be on lockdown with no one leaving or getting out anyway. /shrug

It was handed out by the Corellian Government, which at it's head was a regional Moff. and it was handed out for something he did in the furtherance of the Empire.

So, we don't HAVE to wear those clothes right? Becuase I don't want to look like the other 3 people on my server that will be playing smuggler...

You can wear anything you want. As I understand it, they have a few small bonuses attached to those clothes a la Any Other RPG.
