Ok, we all have asked for new things and fixes for things we don't like but here is something that I noticed the other day while grinding smuggler on the back of my swoop.

I was on my swoop.

*blink* I'm using a precision laser knife to cut wires while flying through the jungles of dant on the back of a swoop?

It gets worse.

Then I went into combat at my mission and since it was fairly easy stuff I tried slicing again.

Yup. You guessed it. Mid-Combat slicing. Makes it real easy to grind but it's a little off.

Finally, WUK's. According to the text when you're slicing the WUK was used and now you're slicing through the panel that is installed to ensure that you don't illeaglly modify a weapon, aka slice. (At least that's my understanding of it)

But this panel on a Janta Stone Knife?

And if you fail then the WUK isn't used up.

Just some observations, perhaps I'm wrong, but are these things a little weird?

A couple of months ago, I would have said you were tempting fate but things may have been fixed somewhat. For a long time (since launch) there was a known bug where you could be put in a permanent "slicing" state. Whenever you would try to slice, you would get a message "You are already slicing something". This was caused by slicing while crossing a server boundry, losing connection to SWG while slicing (happened to me), and often if you were engaged in combat while slicing. The fix was to /sit and logout fo 30 minutes but often players had to wait for server reset.

I know your post wasn't about a slicing bug but you should be aware of it. At one time, you couldn't look at page one of the smuggler boards without seeing an "You are already slicing something" thread.
