has the Borgle Bat Cave been nerfed on every server except Farstar? as I'm sure I remember reading a post in this forum about people getting decent skill tapes out of locked containers, whereas on farstar to the best of my knowledge the best things to come out of containers are still cdef pistols and the occasional single unit of iron or steel.

From what I can see, all of the high level skill tape auctions on my server was loot from the Borgle cave. Less than a week ago, a pistol speed +15 was up for sale. I still see people camping it when I run through so I would tend to think there hasn't been a nerf yet.

Trust me, the spawning time on skill tapes has been altered. There are probably 2-3 spawns per day tops. I checked it out one morning on server reset. There was a tape in the debris when I logged on.No respawn in the 4 hours I waited there. Know what I found? A +5 grenade assembly tape - yay!
It's pretty common to see 4-5 people log at the cave and race to log back on after reset.

I have to agree. I went by the cave yesterday and just ran through. Found a few +1 AAs and tapes. Went back early this morning and the cave was empty. Waited about 30 minues and nothing spawned. Someone else came in and I asked about the rate. He said 5-7 hrs.

Yes used to be 30 minute cycling for the loot but it's more random... sometimes take over 2 hours to spawn. Good idea to stop the camping, bad idea when no where else are their truely good skills tapes! So along with stopping some people just camping it all the time as their money source no the prices of the skill tapes are going for 1 million a skill point is many cases... UGH Nice try but SOE didn't think this one totally out.
