Wow. A Dev who seriously seems like he deeply , hard core cares for the smugglers. I am impressed and will stick around for a while longer. I cant wait to see your posts! .. Green Marine is the new name I look for on the Dev tracker!

Wow!I just got back from a 12 day vacation and read greenmarine's post about contraband. No one will ever see my reply now that there are 1k plus replies. What I wanted to say was WOW! His whole idea sounds so perfect. If this is what the smuggler revamp is gonna bring about then I will kneel before the devs and beg for forgiveness for all the bad things I said. Thats exactly what smugglers should be. Not spice crafters and slice monkeys, but smugglers.
Only thing I would add though is player based smuggling. For example:
The post said something about some contraband not being able to be carried on public transports by non-smugglers. If you look up my Imp blockade post I suggested something like this that would keep smugglers from getting bored with missions. Make it so that players have to pay smugglers to carry contraband for them if they dont have a ship of their own, while they take a shuttle. Or have them tag along for a lil more cash. Sort of like Han taking Ben and Luke for a ride. Also only smugglers should be able to hide contraband in their ships (ex. Where the guys hid when they got borded in A New Hope). That way when Imperials do random boardings, that only smugglers have a chance of evading, non-smugglers get caught and punished. If this is the case, and contraband is worth having smuggled, people with ships and without them will have insentive for hiring smugglers.
Well thats the only thing that I want out of contraband that Green Marine didnt elaborate on. Any feedback? Dont worry bout flamin, it doesnt bother me anymore.
PS- I LOVE THE BH TERMINAL IDEA!
