In the "lifetime" of your character(s) how would you see them "change" in a Role Play sense as far as their goals, professions, politics, etc. I've seen many of you here talk on what you've acheived with your 'toons so far, and what you still hope to do.

If Smuggler Profession and SWG in general worked like a dream from Launch Day (yeah...I know, just refer to the Subject Line, and read on ), I could see my character being a Smuggler for a long time. Getting into and out of every shady scrape there was and amassing a fabulous fortune while doing it. I'd be a Smuggler until I absolutley got enough of it. Then...

Maybe my character would have an "attack of conscience" or some other such rot (seeing a bunch of buddies get wasted in a blockade run gone bad; seeing the nasty effects of spice on a primitve culture planet, whatever).

I'd then have my character go Master Ranger and or Creature Handler, perhaps. Being a hermit trying to come to grips with the scars of the previous career. He'd rarely go into the Static Cities or any place larger than a Village, trying to stay away from the lure of old habits. He'd mostly live in his own base camp out in the wildernessdoing "/rescue " to any unfortunate beings aggro'd by mobs they were no match for. Fall for the occasional "sob story" quest to help some faction in their "galactic struggle" a la' Obi-Wan, maybe.

After that, who knows? After putting the old demons to rest by doing good works, he'd come out of the wilderness and seek togrant his great wealth from the old smuggling runs intorunning a Player City. I don't know, something like that.

Just musing here. Thinking about all the stuff me and my friends dreamed about doing in-game the day 7 of us bought the game together.

I'll be damned if I'm not the only one left.
