I have a solution: I'm a Droid Engineer and I HATE making the droid Stimpacks. I hate it with a passion, but if I don't have any on my vendor I get all kinds of tells asking for them, so I make them and then overcharge. I want to make it worth the pain it is for me to make these things. I don't sell them a lot but they do sell. So that's all you need to do. If others are selling fp for 200 cedits per point sell yours for 500 (these nunbers are just made up I don't know what the going rate is). You won't have to do it often and when you do it will actually be worth it.

But somehow All kinds of folks on my server got my name as someone to buy FP from..
Now I can, and have in the past, but I don't like it.. it takes far too long. Anyone on starsider want some business referred to them?

Wow, I wish I had your problem (the problem of having too many customers for faction).

Seriously though, you should do what the previous poster said, and just raise your price until you are getting paid what you feel that your time is worth. If you require to be paid 180 credits/pointin order for you to feel like it's worth it to take time to sell faction, then so be it.

Heh...
It only takes ONE order to "make" you. It could be a popular PvPer or a well-knowncrafter, or could be you had a client who was either a member of a large guild or they recently joined one, or just someone with alot of respect that people listen to on your server...
That's kinda how it was for me. Plus, I had Caylin and Signosis shooting business in my direction. So it could have also been another Smuggler referring business to you...

don't feel too bad. I never sold FP, but for a week somehow I had people sending me tells looking to buy. No idea how that got started.
