Thread: How do I buy faction points

I read the FAQ's and it said that if i have more than 500 FP than I can't buy any more? How do I purchase enough to get rank if I can only buy up to 500 pts? I'm getting the You can't help us anymore message. Thanks for your help guys.

You can't purchase it for yourself. You can only sell faction. You buy 500FP, then delegate it to the person u are selling it to. You can't move up ranks yourself by buying faction.

You could buy it and delegate it to a friend and then have them delegate it back to you but that would eat up alot of the faction points.

ok I'm new to this as well and I'm trying to go up the long road of faction earning. So when I want to sell faction, if I have more faction than 500FP:
1.) I can't buy anymore?
2.) If I can't buy more then do I just delgate the Faction they want from my faction pool and they pay me?

As long as you are below 500, you can buy faction. If you have 499, you can purchase 125 FP to give you 624. However, you will not be able to buy again until you drop below 500.
What normally will happen is a smuggler with less than 500 will buy, then delegate, then buy, delegate, buy, delegate, etc. Many run macros that keep buying and then delegate when they know they are over 500. Eventually, your customer will have all of the faction that they paid for and you will be left with around 500 FP or less.

One Point that must be remembered make sure you do it in a remote area and definitely have back up to help you out..
It is not fun to be delegating faction when you get incaped By a Oposite faction..
