Will it help this profession feel more real? Will we be allowed to "smuggle" with our ships?

I have every intention of getting this expansion, as abused by the devs as I feel, but do you really think that's fair? It's like telling us that all our time spent playing as a smuggler since launch was pointless. That smuggler is only really possible if you buy the extras. Are they forcing fencers, riflemen, or even weaponsmiths to pay for what pretty much amounts to a whole other game in order to get anything out of their classes? /sigh

hopefully JTL will help, but not in lieu of ground based changes this prof needs

Do you actually believe that smugglers will have some type of special something to do in the Space Expansion? The space expansion will consist of running missions involving twitch-based combat, and PvP with twitch-based combat.

The smuggler profession is not going to receive any new skills or abilities in the space expansion.

There are missions in which you "deliver an item while hostiles attack you" in every profession. I still don't consider [Smuggler's Alliance] pilots to be Smugglers, nor 'Smuggling' - at least not any more than Rebel Pilots or Imperial Pilots might sometimes "smuggle", with a lower-case s - JFreeman - 10/6/04

I think it will help a lot. It basically will give us the OTHER 50 % of our profession which was lacking til now.

Seems also we will get the smuggler missions we were pushing for for one and a half years !

Where has it been said that we will get smuggler missions in the JTL expansion?

Where has it been said the smuggler profession will get ANYTHING added to it in the JTL expansion?

We're not talking about the smuggler revamp here. That's going to happen sometime AFTER JTL launches.

We will not get smuggler missions untill out revamp after JTL. We will not need JTL to run these missions though those with JTL will have more content involed in there missions. This is what GM has stated as his hopes for the smuggler profession, read up on it in SWGstatics
