Hi all,

I just got a set of composite armor (helmet, legs, arms and body), obviously is top heavy and I would like to have it sliced.

An easy task apparently but it seems noMaster Smuggler is to be found when you need one and a couple I found were yet busy in other tasks.

So, is there any Master Smuggler willing to help me ?

The best way to find a Smuggler to slice is to ask around in-game. Nearly everyone knows a Smuggler that they trust.

And just a thought ...

/whispers to community ... new member to the community, may not know better ... lets be a little bit nicer than 1-star everyone that solicits business...

A veteran ... I won't say anything ... a noob ... come on think back to when you were a noob, you didn't know any better either.

Another good way to find a smuggler in your galaxy would be to post on your server specific board.

In addition to this, you might be able to "convince" a busy smuggler to come by and slice your stuff .... if you're willing to make it worth their while to do so. Sweeten the pot a little, offer to come to them. Might not work if they're really busy but itusually doesn't hurt to ask, as long as you don't cross the invisible line into pestering. Good luck with the slicing!

Thanks guys,

I appreciate the advice, unfortunately it seems that asking in-game don't help: I found some Master Smuggler but no onewas interested in the task, weird.....I understand that they don't need the xp anymore but apparently there's also too money around to make the task interestig.

Btw I've been told that a slicing could cost around 200 cr for each 1% slicing for each piece.... is this figure correct ?

since its a gamble... i usually use fix prices.. 5k for each armor pieces... weapons are another story

This varies from Smuggler to Smuggler. If you were on Starsider and contacted me, you'd be quoted a price of 10k per piece. Very few Smugglers that I've seen lately are still using a XXXc / % pricing scale. Most have gone to a flat rate system that runs anywhere from 5k to 15k per slice.

@RebelKnight the easiest way to get ur stuff sliced (Chimaera) is to /tell Bomb

just 5k a slice

(hence 45k for complete Composite set).
