I admire your effort to get the RPG aspect out of this MMORPG. I was going to play devil's advocate here, but you know it's your money and you should enjoy playing. Too many are slicing gear and not enjoying the game. I don't think a few minutes of roleplay would kill anyone who is against it. They get what they're after and you get what you're after. It's a fair trade especially since you're taking a huge pay cut.

So here we are, the master smuggler community...we can't earn anymore xp for slicing, and most of us have earned a pretty nest egg, in which we really don't need credits anymore (at least until JTL comes out and we have to buy our YT-1300's)...so I figured what the hell...I can charge 5k a slice on average OR I can offer to slice for 1k an item IF the player roleplays it....so far, I've had more takers than not, and I'm actually having a blast RP'ing as a smuggler...maybe I can't really SMUGGLE, but at least I can act the part somewhat. So what do you guys think? I've had some really great encounters so far, ranging from describing a pistol as a blowdryer with a 35% speed increase, to toasters that make that greatest bread and then blow up (MSE droids that go boom..)
Great fun, makes things interesting while I try to figue out what to do with my time....
I have always wanted to be a master smuggler, nothing more, nothing less....forget FOTW, forget Jedi..just give me a weapon to slice, a spice to make, and a back door deal to broker, and I'm happy.
