Thread: Slicing fixed?

Hey fellow Smugglers. I had heard a lot of rumors about negative slices since the CU. I've been too scared to slice any of my new weapons until I heard/read that it had been fixed. Has anyone had a problem with this recently? Anyone know if it's been fixed?

Well so far my lowest slice since CU has been for 1%. However I am still getting some 30% slices, on supposedly top of the line weapons...so I am not sure how its work atm. Also I am still getting slicing xp, don't know about you guys, but I am banking it for trade in at village.

Yep. Slicing is happening in the revamp. Meaning.. slicing isn't happening.

Sort of explains why no one has asked me to slice anything for them since the CU.

I've had plenty of people ask for me to slice for them but i tell them if it is a new loot or quest weapon they shouldn't slice it till my revamp. Negative and 0% slices scare people...
But then again some people don't like my 15k a slice price. One guy even had the balls to tell me:
"Respec is going on, your prices are to high, I can just respec to smuggler and slice"
I told him to f off and do it.

Nice. I would've done the same.
As a matter of fact... I have. I think we all have.
Now. I know I am asking for trouble advertising slicing, but I have to admit that 10k/slice is nice, and my Tell macro that tells the 'client' of the risks/rewards for slicing is usually enough for people to understand.
Only really have had one moron - and I refused to slice for him as I knew he would've been trouble - He refused to take his renegade pistol back (he couldn't use it anyways, not a smuggler) so now I have a free renegade pistol.

Respecced to smuggler on one of my alts today and got a -1% speed slice on my first try... Guss it cant get much worse than that....

I can beat that with a -2% slice I got on a renegade pistol two days ago.
