Sometimes I think, I should have Ebay'd January 2004 when I unlocked Jedi. I was fortunate that two professions needed were the two I WANTED to play - Droid Engineer, and Smuggler.Those were my first two, and my last two professions on my main-character. I barely made any assests in the game doing either, so I was fortunate I had great friends whom funded me nearly every step of the way. Unfortunately, they very quickly lost interest.

I kept up hope, however. Hope, that one day Star Wars Galaxies would become what it was promised from the very beginning. Player Cities had a slight glimmer to restore the months of bugs we had endured, and the Space-ship combat redeemed a good amount of faith. But in all, perhaps regret, is the best word I can think of as to NOT having done so before - but, finally have decided after our more recent patches of "Here's the best we can come up with" - only to feel what ever sense of hope I had left slide down the back of my throat in a thick lump of disgust.

Some day I may return; if SWG survives long enough that is. After all, World War II had made a partial come-back... But maybe that would rate Verant .. oops, excuse me, SOE a little too highly.

FarewellSmugglers! I had a blast doing the things we could do, try'n to figure out what we were suppose to be able to do, andexperimenting withthe things we weren't suppose to do. I bid you all the greatest success that you're able to cheat, steal, lie, or just plain get lucky for! =)
