Thread: Slicing BH Terminals

Ok..is it just me or does this make no difference what so ever. I am doing NPC missions and highest I got without a slice was 31000ish...with the slice 30964. I guess I'm happy it doesn't take a consumable.

It never did do anything.
Back when I was just finished hologrinding and I was switching back from BH to smuggler, I had some investigation left and took terminal slicing just for kicks, I wanted to see if it did affect the mission payouts and it did not.
I was kind of disappointed, but it didn't surprise me. Like with factional missions, your mission payout directly affects the faction you get when the flag is destroyed. So if the mission payouts were suddenly doubled on BH missions, you could rip right through investigation training without most of the "hardship" you're supposed to endure.
Then again, after rampant GCW PvE base propigation on every land mass in the galaxy, you'd have to be a little warped in the head to actually grind out inv exp by doing missions. Admittedly with the base alarm reinforcements, solo terminal slicing isn't as easy as it used to be.
