I recently hung up smuggler to pursue BH. I'd have stayed had it not been for the smuggler requirement to train in the pistols tree. As a rifleman/smuggler I couldnt pick up any decent medical abilities, so I was more or less forced into BH...

So, now here I am, a new BH and have been using a fully speed sliced Hyper Rifle. Smuggler and speed sliced weapons are great, allows them to cycle shots like Concussion shot at a much greater rate. If I was a smuggler, I'd just speed slice my shiney new "covert retaliation" or better known as the necrosis rifle.

As a BH, I still enjoy my speed slice, but all my skills have very short recycle times and my speed doesnt seem to be as much of a factor. Hence, I'm looking at raw damage, and possibly a critical slice.

Heres the stats of the Necrosis Rifle;

dps 276

Again, I'm not thrilled with the speed, but I dont think speed matters much to the fairly quick recycle times of the BH special attacks. A full speed slice will give me very nearly an 800 DPS. My modified speed with a speed powerup would be around .8. The down side is it eatch up may action.

A full 8% damage slice will give me 507-1014 damage. It only adds a mere 75 damage/shot.

A full critical shot slice only seems to apply when using critical shot... and not for all your shots... so I'm not entirely convinced its worth it.

Ack! I dont know what to do!
