Anyone know our abilities come in handy- I mean, I used Concuss up their and that was grand but the group I was in was loot oriented and didn't really care about what they shot- It was a mess but they got what they wanted (no AV-21 though).

I went up again by myself afterwards and damn near soloed the thing without a shot being fired (thanks to a handy guide).

The problem of course came when I had to cross that room with all the Super Battle Droids in it (Rebel Destroy Mission). Concuss don't work on them bad boys. Hell, NOTHING works on those dudes so I was wondering if anyone knew how to get past them to the juicy center which is the fuel room.

Yeah. SBDs don't feel jacksnibbily.

When it comes to that room, all I really need to do is get up to that room and switch that fuel intake meter thingy. If I can get in the room good enough I can Concuss the two Nova troopers long enough to get at it (I think).

So far the closest I have come is getting into the room and then reading "You cannot Concussion Shot while dead".

Even with a full group rushing the room, shooting like mad, healing, dodging, pets out, it's almost impossible to get to the fuel room. My former guild tried it. Never did finish the Corvette, because every suggestion of how to get past them involved a jedi, the over all sentiment of the guild was 'if we need a jedi to do it, then by God we just won't do it. Screw the jedi'

Run through the room... just keep running, then feign death when you make it out... they should eventually leave you alone... get up and proceed lol.

Well. There are people who solo the thing all the time. And I don't think they are Jedi. I just need to get passed that one SBD- If I could stall him somehow...

Does Low Blow work on a droid?

Here is my plan thus far.

Get to the room-

Run COB

Equip AoE Pistol

Run Duelist's Stance

Pixie

Pikatta Pie (You know what the hell I'm talking about- quit grinnin')

Breath of Heaven

Don PSG

Take outpet Combat Droid.

Send combat droid into room.

Follow droid and run up stairs.

Get into fuel room.

Hit Concussion.

The stuff inorange I have already tried.

Perhaps you should eat some synthsteaks (45% damage mitigation). Hit the driods that are on you with Low Blow (it lands on droids). That is at least 25% less shots that will be fired at you, and if you have a root, use it on them as well.

Perhaps you should eat Parwan Nutricake so you can burst run indefinately.

SYNTH STEAKS!!!
I forgot all about those! Thanks Tern.
Burst run doesn't work at all on the Vette- But those steaks should give me enough protection- especially when I combine them with a good PSG.

Strangely enough, you can ride mounts on the vette. My poor lvl 10 cupa didn't last too long up there...

SO... I went up last night with Zane.

We met up after I spent eons getting the ticket and Zane went Rebel.

We went to the first room and I got disoriented because we didn't get killed. Hell, we didn't even have anyone shoot at us.

The same went for the second room.

And when we DID catch fire from the SBD in the Fuel Room- I took the brunt of it all and Zane wisely got into the room and feigned.

The rest of the gig was easy but I kept getting lost AND the big killer was I skipped a step so we didn't have the code at the end.

When I finally figured it out we had under 2 minutes to find the escape pods. So we failed.

I was crazy pissed off...

Now, I gotta take a little time to say- Zane was the BOMB the whole way and I REALLY appreciate him coming up with me- we didn't even get to loot anything! Dang it.

If you want though Zane we could go up again tonight. Maybe this time we can get the tickets together so we can go up twice- I SERIOUSLY don't think it's going to take near as long this time.
