One cannot slice up the same tier twice. If that is your question.

Ok, basicly, you have to start out with the lowest slice and work your way up. Once you have done that slice, you can't do it again. Customization addsup for each tier, and you can't slice a higher tier without slicing the lower tiers first. I keep having to explain this to every potential customer over and over again, because they just don't understand that you have to do ALL the slices below itto get a T3 slice.

I wasn't a huge fan of the old system, but this system confuses people even more. Not to mention it seems that BH's are the only ones that seem to have a decent source for the parts we need to slice.

One thing that ended my slicing 'explanations': Combos. I have a macro with combo numbers that the client can choose. Each combo contains one of the different max-customization slice possibilities. The clientperuses through all the different combos and says, "I'll take a #2." Bam...end of my incessant typing.

After a 60% defelction slice, enough customization remains to also add a level 1 Resilience slice. This makes for some pretty durable armor that keeps its stats for a long time. And 60% is nothing to sneeze at - your armor will last 67% longer with that slice.
