I just came back to the game and I was wondering what to charge for slicing. Would like to know what the going rate is these days.

I charge 2x what it costs me to acquire allmid/hi-lvl components, adding 100K to the total for my 'time'. This means that if a Fine Toolset cost me 25K, DTA cost me 50K...then I charge 250K for a Top-Lvl Spd/Crit slice (50K+100K+100K). If client provides the necessary components, then its a flat 100K for my 'time'. And oh, how the business has been flowing. From logon to logoff.

Well Id Say to Charge what you would normally charge, exept in the event that the recipiant of the slice has not got the parts needed.

I'll be honest here, although most Smuggs are quite reasonable with pricing, keeping it atleast in the 100.000's,many Smuggs are charging 1, 2 or even 3million for a single slice "reguardless of what level slice it is, even if the customer has the needed parts already".

It was because of this kind of GLUTTONY, that I chose to buy a new account & make a Mule Char to support my main"for free".

And this is the reason also, that as a smuggler, you may not find too many willing customers thesedays.

Keep it within reason, and you should do ok. Bear in mind, that unlike in the past, when a customer would want 30 or 40 weapons done atone time and would be happy to pay 250k. These days a customer might only ask to have one or two weapons sliced. Keep the prices around the same end of production price (per weapon& not per slice), for those with the parts & you can't go wrong. If they don't have the parts, charge double, but never, I repeat never charge more than 1/2 a mill for one single wep likesome others are doing, and you should have a steady stream of work.
