I've been moving through slicing and found some odd things.

I keep my Smuggler stuff in crates ina Cargo Pocket in my main inventory window.

Now first I thought 1 WUK could slice 5 weapons, am I wrong on this assumption? Thought I read that here on the Smuggler board.

Second when I slice I click on the weapon and chose slice from the radial menu. Again I don't take my tools out of the crates. Now last night I had a crate of 23 WUKs, plenty of LK's &Mole. Clamps. I start slicing and only get through 23 pistols?? So I go look at my supplies and sure enough no WUKs left.

So what I've found is using knives or WUKsfrom crates seems to use one whole stack of 10 knives & one WUK.

Am Imissing something? Or is it common practise to remove tools from crates first?

1 WUK = 1 Slice.

Used to be a bug that it would use a whole knife if the knife was in a create but i havent checked that for awhile.

Remove knives from crates ... all others leave in crates

yea I remove knives from crates when I slice cos they do seem to get used up way to quickly.

Quefe Damet 2-3-2-4 Smuggler, 2-2-2-2 Pistoleer.

so wait....you can leave the wuks and clamps and laser knives in the crates and they still work? umm....wow, I never knew that! That'll make finishing slicing alot easier!

I keep all of mine in crates in an un-equipped backpack. Seems like I read somewhere that it doesnt work if they are in the currently equipped backpack, but not sure. The previous posters are right... I DO remove the knives from the crates before using them, else you use TWO FULL KNIVES to do two wire cuts.

Sheesh, no wonder where all my knives were going, i hope it gets fixed soon.

cool, so I can leave my wuks, auks, and clamps crated in a pack(unequiped), and just pull my laser knives from a crate in my main pack. Wow, that makes life alot easier. Great to get these little tips
