Do a search.....LOTS of threads on slicing prices.

I don't advertise that I am a Master Smuggler (amazing how few people think to ask the Rogue) so I get very few requests to slice but when I do here is how it works:

Guildmate: free

Rebel: whatever they think is fair (usually get very generous tippers)

Neutral or Covert Imp I don't know is an Imp: 10k

Known Imp: won't slice for them.

I make plenty of money running missions and selling Muon on the bazaar for 1000 credits a dose so I don't really rely on slicing for cash.

I charge 3000 flat rate on all items, sad part is, with all the 10k slicing prices, I was told the other day that was too expensive, lol.

I actually make a decent profit off of it, I make my own clamps and knives, generally buy WUK and AUK off the bazaar... I've yet to find a handy, reasonably price andreliable vendor on my server... maybe my expectations are too high.

Being a fellow bloodfin..ian, how much do you charge for slicing? Haven't been master that long, just over a week really and testing the waters at 4k per slice regardless of item or results. Most people are happy with this but I had a conversation along the lines of this yesterday ....

Yes, sure I am at ........ and I charge 4k per item.

Right, you do discount for items under 20% right?

Absolutely not, its 4k base rate regardless of item or results. Would you pay me 8k for slices over 20%?

Well sir you do get for what you pay for, a suit that is enhanced permanently for the rest of its days.

note- all 9 peices were 27-40%, lowest being 22%

Think when i master smug (not far now, 3 uw, 4 slice an 4 spice to go!) ill be charging 8 to 10k per slice (though if its a noob prolly free....)

Although im not as tolerant as some when it comes to abuse so ill have a little 2k bump per nasty word going (not if its a long sentance of say 10 dirty words..... thats 20k isntantly), of course i will mention this beforehand ^^

Heyya Fayfe, good to see a name of an imperial smuggler, can never have too many contacts. For me, my regulars dont even ask how much i charge. When they bring me crap items that the just wanna see improved, they'll toss me 5-10k. When they bring me elite items to slice, they'll put up 50-100k. For unknowns that send me tells, i usually tell them 5k-20k per item depending on their satisfaction. More often than not, they'lldrop 10-15k per slice even on one thats less than 20 percent. If they complain, ask em howmuch they spent on their last buff. Then ask them if that buff is still working. Then remind em that you are making permanent improvements to their items, and ask why they would expect to pay less for somethin permanent vs something temporary.
