Hi,

Just completed a round of testing on TC-Ep3. Its taken quite a bit of prep work but here is what ive found.

Created a massivebatch of Laser Carbines. The stats of the carbines were:

Attack Speed 2.47

Damage 286-649

elemental Damage 41

Accuracy Bonus 1

Wound 15%

Estimated base DPS 205.85

Range 0-50

special Attack Cost 124

I conducted my first batch of slicing as a Master Smuggler.

Sliced 25 of the carbines. The slices were ALL either 15% speed or Damage 13%.

Interestingly the speed and damage slices did not give corresponding % changes. Here are the changes

15% speed slice got me from speed of 2.47 down to 2.39. This is not 15%. The resultant DPS was 212

13% damage slice got me from 286-649 up to 318-686. The resultant DPS was 220

Out of the 25 slices I got 14 speed slices (all 15%)and 11 damage slices (all 13%)

I then dropped Master smuggler with Slicing 4 I got the following results:

Sliced 20 of the carbines. The slices were ALL either 13% speed or 11% damage. Again the % slices didnt translate into appropriate changes in the weapons.

Out of the 20 slices I got 13 speed slices and 7 damage slices.

Slicing 3 and Slicing 2 gave me identical results although the sample was much smaller, 5 slices each.

Speed was 11% and Damage was 9%.

Out of the total 10 slices I got 7 speed and 3 damage.

Now I have done a variety of slicing the other night and got some varience but they were with different weapons. The same weapons (and maybe the same tools) give me exactly the same slicing results. I have had slices much higher than this on different weapons. The point here is that there doesnt seem to be any varience in the strength of the slice other than its random whether its going to be a speed or damage slice when slicing the same weapons.

There seems to be roughly a 60% change of a speed slice (hence 40% damage). I dont know whether a sample of 55 is good enough to tell for sure tho.
