On this, the dawn of a brave new world,we hold an ultimate power. We have the opportunity to determine our own destiny. We can further ourselves in a way few others can.
How?
We lie to the general populace.
We say "Slicing is gone" and we say "Spice got nerfed"
And keep out spice and out slicing for ourselves, giving us a massive advantage. We stop being a service industry, and instead become the profession with better weapons than anyone else, better armour than anyone else and better HAM regen than anyone else. We put down the gold and take the battlefield. We leavethe material wealth and own the glory.
What do you say?

I have a chance to actually make some credits slicing...I am charging alot ..maybe even upwards to 15k gotta count me out...I will fight another day

Aye same here. I'm going to merrily continue slicing for anyone who's willing to pay for it... as well as my own stuff of course.

nah,I prefer credits to glory, glory wont buy you jet juice and lap dances from twi'leks. and I cant run my ship on glory. and I'm for the old spacers home, If I go out looking for glory I'll never get to live out my last days in a rocking chair there

I hate to say it, but while I'd love to see us get some kind of advantage like this in the mechanics, I've made a fairly big fortune between slicing, spicing, and faction brokerage. Or in smugllereese "jurry rigging equipment", "providing contraban", and adjusting paperwork".
Still, if you convince enough of your server to go with this idea... that'd get you a fairly big piece of the market... 
EDIT: Not to mention, glory gets you fame, fame gets you noticed, and getting noticed gets you arrested, prosicuted and a stint in the mines.

I'm with you! I'm going to say that to anyone who asks, and say that anyone who claims to be "slicing" a weapon is just exploiting and should be reported immediately
