I know this is a noob question.

How do I make clamp schematics. I was a doc and it was very easy to do.Can't do that in smugler and am 4442. Any help would be appreciated. This answer is probably so simple but it just eludes me.

Thequick answer: use a weapon/droid/generic tool next to a crafting station, create the schematic, then load it into an equipment factory along with the materials.
